Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby Sports Club

1. Organiser

This raffle is conducted by Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby Sports Club to raise funds for club activities, facilities, and community rugby initiatives.

2. Eligibility

  • Entry is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years or older.

  • Members, volunteers, and their immediate families are eligible to enter.

3. Ticket Sales

  • Tickets are sold at $50 NZD each.

  • Each ticket equals one entry into the draw.

  • Tickets are non-refundable, except where required by law.

4. Minimum Ticket Sales Clause

  • This raffle is subject to a minimum number of tickets being sold.

  • If the minimum number of tickets is not reached, the organiser reserves the right to:

    • Substitute the prize with a cash prize or alternative prize of equal or lesser value; or

    • Extend the ticket sales period; or

    • Cancel the raffle and refund all ticket holders in full.

5. Prize

  • The prize is a Ford Ranger XLT.

  • The prize includes: registration and WOF

  • The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

  • If the advertised prize becomes unavailable, the organiser reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

6. Draw Details

  • The draw will take place on the 28th of June 2026.

  • The winner will be selected at random.

  • The draw may be conducted publicly, recorded, or supervised for transparency.

7. Winner Notification

  • The winner will be notified via phone and/or email within 1 working day of the draw.

  • If the winner cannot be contacted within 2 working days, a redraw may occur.

8. Prize Collection

  • The winner must collect the prize from the Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby Club or arrange delivery at their own cost.

  • The winner must provide valid identification and comply with all legal requirements for vehicle ownership and transfer in New Zealand.

9. Use of Proceeds

All proceeds from ticket sales will go toward supporting Central Hawke’s Bay Rugby Sports Club and its community initiatives.

10. Compliance with Law

  • This raffle is conducted in accordance with the Gambling Act 2003.

  • Where required, appropriate approvals will be obtained from the Department of Internal Affairs.

11. Privacy

  • Personal information collected will only be used for administering the raffle and contacting the winner.

  • Information will not be shared with third parties without consent.

12. Liability

  • The organiser is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.

  • The organiser is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered in connection with the prize.

  • The winner accepts the prize at their own risk.

13. Acceptance

By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
